About Harbor View Elementary School Library

Harbor View Elementary's library has over 9,500 books to suit the needs of students and teachers.  While that may sound like a lot of books, we are always updating the collection with titles that students want to read.    

Many of the new additions to the Harbor View library are graphic novels.  Why?  Because they support literacy skills.  Click on the link below to read more from Scholastic.

About Your Librarian

Mr. Baker is in his first year as a librarian but his 14th year of education.

The previous 13 years, he was a middle school history teacher. 

He is originally from Ohio but now resides in the furthest reaches of Charleston city with his wife and two kids.
